Program: Contra Costa Juvenile Probation
Description:
Monthly sail with students from Contra Costa County's Orin Allen Youth Rehabilitation Facility (OAYRF). Crew must be aged 21 or over to participate per probation department requirements. 08:30 Crew report and prep for the day 09:00 Students arrive; short classroom session and then head out. 15:00 Return to slip / debrief / store the boat. ~15:30 Departure. I'll bring sandwiches for the students and crew--please advise of any dietary restrictions. If you're inclined (but not required), bring along snacks, cookies to share.
