Sail on Bear with Project Rebound (Golden Bear)

Description: A departure from our usual kid sails, Project Rebound out of San Francisco State University is made up of formerly incarcerated adults. Their mission is supporting the formerly incarcerated on their journey through successful reintegration in a college setting.

Description: Another sail with Larkin Street Youth Services which is a nonprofit empowering young people to move beyond homelessness. This sail is a graduation for nine youth completing a financial literacy class aimed to empower them with knowledge to create opportunities and improve their circumstances.

City of Berkeley Summer Camp[ (Golden Bear)

Location: San Francisco Marina
Description: This sail is from Berkeley, as though it were on Benjamin Walters. The location is being set automatically based on the boat but the actual location is Berkeley Marina, O Dock. Our first sail with the City of Berkeley Summer Camp...9-13 year olds from Berkeley who want to see what it is like out there. Could be the start of more sails for the City of Berkeley who provide free berthing for Aleta.

Description: We are ALWAYS done by 8 PM. If you cannot make it in, we have a Zoom conference space you can use to be telepresent.You must register in order to access the meeting via Zoom. Registration will generate connection details which are good for subsequent meetings.

First Aid / CPR / AED training

Location: Berkeley Yacht Club
Description: CPR/First Aid training required for certification. Free to BWF volunteers. PLEASE NOTE: This certification will be blended learning, meaning that the video and "lecture" portion will be done online at your own time and only the skills portion will be done in-person. You will be sent a link from ARC American Red Cross (email may be addressed from Salesforce) Online portion must be complete before skills session. Description: Arrr, Mateys, It's that time of year again! Blue Water Foundation is gearing up to celebrate our Amazing Volunteers with our Annual VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION PARTY! Did you have a SPLASH at last year's bash? Well, get ready to have a BLAST this time around! We've got some awesome interactive games lined up, so prepare to not only "Eat, Drink and Be Merry", but to "Compete, Laugh, and Win!" Come celebrate the Bosun, Partner and Volunteer of the Year and meet new volunteers and reignite friendships with seasoned crew. Don't forget to bring your Dancing Shoes and Sailor's A-Game!
